One of the most famous tourist attractions in Dammam is the Heritage Village, ideally located near the Corniche. Frequented by visitors inside and outside of the city, it explores the heritage of various regions in the Kingdom. The village hosts a popular market, museum, café, and restaurant, all under one roof.

The Heritage Village is distinguished by its wonderful castle-like design, while each of its five floors is dedicated to a specific region in the Kingdom. The beauty of Saudi heritage is highlighted through the décor, exhibits and traditional seating areas.

The Heritage Village has an integrated museum that displays more than 7,000 heritage pieces. Probably the most expensive exhibit is Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman’s car from 1983. Visitors can also view Islamic artifacts, ancient weapons, jewelry, antique pictures and old tools, among other priceless antiquities.

As you wander through the village, make sure to browse the market that displays famous local products such as incense, copper crafts, rosaries, handicrafts, spices and other popular products.

Restaurant and café

The Heritage Village is also famous for offering delicious authentic Saudi and Gulf dishes prepared under the supervision of local citizens. The restaurant and café were built in the Saudi heritage style and offer a prime view of the Dammam waterfront.

The restaurant offers various dishes to satisfy all tastes.

The village also holds a number of cultural evenings and folklore parties. For more information, visit its Instagram account – @heritagevlg
