The allure of the north’s Dedhan rose

Each spring, the Northern Borders province of Saudi Arabia blooms with a gorgeous variety of flowers, wild herbs, and herbaceous plants. Arguably the most famous of these plants is the Dedhan rose, whose bright red color shines throughout the region.

A wild rose  

The Dedhan rose is known as the anemone and belongs to the buttercup family that grows in the wild, especially in the Northern Borders. It is a popular garden plant that comes in many beautiful kinds and bright colors, including orange and pink. You can also find red roses without black spots and smooth floral buds as well as red roses with black spots, coarse leaves, and floral buds.

The flower grows in the spring, especially after the rainy season. A heterozygous plant with a noticeable degree of toxicity, they are sometimes referred to by a number of local and scientific names.
